We offer leadwire stitched to the top of the spider with very high quality thread. This is the very best way to make the connection from the coil to the terminal or direct wires.
Leadwire failure is one of the most common causes of premature subwoofer deaths. Our leadwire has been proven to offer a more reliable, long lasting connection that free-floating or sandwiched leadwire setups.
We offer sewn leadwire in single, dual, triple, or quad lead configurations. Here is a breakdown of approximate leadwire needs per the amount of RMS power supplied by your amplifier:
Single leads – Up to 1500 watts RMS power handling
Dual leads – 1500 to 2500 watts RMS power handling
Triple leads – 2500 to 3500 watts RMS power handling
Quad leads – 3500 watts RMS power handling
We offer leadwire stitching on any of our own spiders and can also offer this service for any spiders that you may already have to use in a custom build. Pricing for custom leadwire stitching is $15 and up. Singe-Quad leadwires can be added to our spiders directly on the product page.
