Use this glue kit to rebuild your subwoofers. This kit includes both types of glue that we would use to assemble a full subwoofer. CA glue is no the best adhesive to use for gluing surround and dustcaps in most applications. Grab this kit so that you have the correct glue for each component of the rebuild.

This is the perfect glue kit to rebuild the following amount of speakers using pre-assembled drop-in recone kits.
(1-2) 10″ speakers
(1-2) 12″ speakers
(1) 15″ speaker
(1) 18″ speaker

CA Glue:
This is a black rubberized, CA (Cyanoacrylate) that has far superior flexibility and holding strength than the stuff you get from hobby stores. We offer a custom blended glue that is not available elsewhere. You will not find a better CA glue, period.

CA Glue is recommended for for all spider to voice coil, spider to frame , cone to coil connections, and for select dustcap applications also. CA glue bonds well to paper, cardboard, wood, ABS, aluminum, and many more surfaces. Our CA glue is strong, slightly flexible, has excellent grip and dries thick and hard.

The activator is also formulated for this particular make-up of the glue. It works VERY well and as long as it is used properly, will not discolor or cause blooms in the glue. We always recommend that any exposed CA Glue be sprayed with activator. CA glue fumes will be a problem if activator is not applied.

RUBBER Adhesive:
This adhesive is made up of  a very specialized blend of rubber solids and a solvent that liquefies it. This glue will air dry to the touch in 1 hour and fully cure in 24 hours. This is a black rubber based contact adhesive. This is NOT ca glue. This product dries with no activator. This product does not provide an immediate hold.

Rubber adhesive can be used for applying surrounds to frames, dustcaps to cones, surround repairs (oops!), and other applications where a flexible, yet strong adhesive is needed. We use this adhesive to hold down our foam surround and dustcaps on all production subwoofers.

This adhesive is thick, and dries to a hard, but very flexible solid rubber material. This glue will shrink as it dries, which helps tremendously with holding two different parts together.

This adhesive can be used in select parts of the speaker building process, but is not suited for making any sort of a connection where the part will be under high stress. This adhesive is not suitable for voice coil connections, or most spider to frame connections.
