Description

We are selling this JL 12W7 subwoofer only because it needs a good home. It  has been rebuilt. FixMySpeaker.com and is ready to make some bass.

The performance will be different than the standard factory configuration. If you have more than one of these drivers, we do not recommend running a mismatched pair (or more) of subwoofers. Use this subwoofer in a single sub install only.

When rebuilding this W7 series subwoofer, we used a custom flatwound voice coil and stiffer suspension design with heavy gauge leadwires hand stitched directly to the spider. We re-used the original JL Audio cone and surround for a factory fit and appearance and to retain the use of the stock frame.

We rebuilt this is a SINGLE 1 OHM for comparability with most class-D amplifiers..

Use in 1.9ft ported at 32hz

This subwoofer has been tested and works. This is not in perfect condition, but is in good condition.
